A safe hex cutter is used to lift the cuticles and open the sinuses. It does not have an abrasive, like diamond cutters and cutting notches, like most carbide cutters, the working part of this cutter is a tapered hexagon.
It is used in hardware manicure and pedicure for:
• Gentle removal of dense pterygium;
• Final (finishing) processing of sinuses.
