No previous nail extension experience is required.

DAY 1 — SQUARE & ONE COLOR

Theoretical Foundation

• structure of the natural and artificial nail;
• modelling materials;
• preparation of the natural nail;
• material adhesion;
• causes of lifting and breakage;
• choosing the right gel;
• working with lower forms.

Square

• correct template placement;
• trimming and adapting the form;
• direction of the future nail;
• building the Square shape;
• parallel lines;
• central axis;
• architecture;
• apex;
• stress zone;
• correct thickness;
• material application;
• controlling the amount of gel;
• professional filing;
• thin free edge;
• one-color salon finish.

DAY 2 — MODERN ALMOND & OMBRÉ

• template placement for Modern Almond;
• correct shape direction;
• building the Almond shape;
• symmetry;
• architecture;
• apex;
• working with sidewalls;
• thin edges;
• minimal filing;
• Ombré / Babyboomer technique;
• soft color transition;
• creating a commercial salon result.

DAY 3 — BALLERINA & PAINTED FRENCH

• building the Ballerina shape;
• template placement;
• correct sidewalls;
• architecture;
• shape balance;
• thickness control;
• filing;
• preparing the surface for French;
• French proportions;
• creating the smile line;
• side wings;
• classic painted French;
• modern thin French;
• French without unnecessary thickness.

AFTER THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO

Independently perform basic salon nail extensions, understand the architecture of an artificial nail, and work with three commercial shapes.
